Longtime Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Verlyn H. Reynolds Jr. are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Verlyn Jr. married Erna Spille on July 19, 1958, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Union City.
Erna is a 1958 graduate of Union City-Wayne High School in Union City and is a retired secretary.
Junior graduated from Union City East Side High School, Union City, Ohio, and retired from Allegheny Technologies, Inc., Portland Forge.
The couple are the parents of three children, Lori Bonvillian and Eric Reynolds, both of Portland, and Darren Reynolds, Chicago, Ill.
Junior and Erna celebrated their anniversary with 23 family members on a week long oceanside vacation at Nags Head on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.[[In-content Ad]]
