Mr. and Mrs. Lester Zimmerman, Berne, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today.
Lester was married to Marjorie Bixler on May 16, 1942, in Piqua, Ohio, by his brother, the Rev. Norman Zimmerman.
The couple sponsors the Saturday Morning Gospel Sing on WPGW Radio each week.
They are the parents of Mrs. Bill (Joyce Ann) Harrold, Portland.
