Couple marking 40th
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Paxson, Harrod, Ohio, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today (Aug. 23).
Walter and Barbara K. Wiley were married on Aug. 23, 1964, at Zion Lutheran Church in Portland by the Rev. Richard Kraus.
Barbara is a teacher at Bluffton Exempted School and Walter is employed at Elevator Services and Storage Inc.
They are the parents of Marcus Paxson, St. Marys, Ohio; Chris (wife Jessie) Paxson, Westminster, Ohio; Gus (wife Candi) Paxson, Rockport, Ohio; Mrs. Leif (Maria) Kibele, Rockport, Ohio, and Mrs. Preston (Darla) Metz, Covington, Ohio. They also have ten grandchildren.
The couple celebrated earlier this year by taking their family on a trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla.[[In-content Ad]]
