Couple to mark 50th
Mr. and Mrs. John Alig, 7442 East 200 North, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on April 24.
John married Marceil Muhlenkamp on April 24, 1954 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, by the Rev. Francis J. Uecker.
Marceil is retired from the Jay School Corp. and John is retired from New Idea in Coldwater, Ohio.
They are the parents of six children. They also have 15 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-granchildren.
The couple will celebrate with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 10:30 a.m. (Ohio time) at Mary Help of Christians Church, Fort Recovery, and an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. (Ohio time) in the church undercroft.[[In-content Ad]]
