Couple to mark 50th anniversary
H. Lemoine and Ruby M. Overholser are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Sunday at the Evangelical Methodist Church fellowship hall, 930 W. Main St. in Portland, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Lemoine married Ruby Hammers on Aug. 6, 1955, at Bluff Point Friends Church.
Ruby retired from the Jay County Clerkâs office in 1998 and worked in the office of Sheller-Globe for 28 years.
Lemoine retired from New Idea in Coldwater, Ohio, after 47 years.
They are the parents of Sherry Overholser, Kokomo, and Jeff Overholser, Portland. They also have three grandchildren.
