Couple to mark 60th (3/28/05)
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Dale Shoemaker, Bryant, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, April 1.
Glen married Mabel Ireland on April 1, 1945.
Mabel worked at Caylor Nickel Clinic in Bluffton for six years and Glen was a farmer for 39 years and an employee of Corning Glass for 19 years.
They are the parents of Steve Shoemaker, Geneva; Joyce Young, Farmington Hills, Mich.; and Cindy Morris, Portland. They also have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will attend services together on Sunday at Bryant Wesleyan Church and have dinner at Bearcreek Farms.[[In-content Ad]]
