Couple to speak at library (05/01/07)
Taking note
Ball State professors John and Carolyn Vann will speak at Jay County Public Library on Tuesday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m.
The couple spent time in the Peace Corps from 1966 to 1968 in Afghanistan. They will discuss their experiences, share souvenirs and answer questions.
Refreshments will be served. For more information, call Miranda Hummel at the library at (260) 726-7890.
To speak on 211
Lana Remaly, a representative from LifeStream Services, will speak on the 211 information program on May 7 in Dunkirk.
The program will be held during the West Jay Community Center seniors meeting at the center, beginning at 11 a.m.
