Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Phillips, 508 N. Ship Street, Portland, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Stephanie to Matt Metz, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Metz, Elwood. The couple plans to exchange vows on Oct. 6.
Stephanie is a 2003 graduate of Jay County High School and a 2007 graduate of Ball State University. She is employed at National City Bank in Noblesville.
