Coys celebrate 50th (09/30/2008)
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coy, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday at their home at 720 W. Walnut St. in Portland.
Bill and Betty were married on Oct. 4, 1958, at the Little Salamonia Church by the Rev. Charles Dunmoyer.
Betty is a cook for Portland Head Start and Bill is pastor of Little Salamonia Church and a retired farmer.
The couple are the parents of four children, William Coy, Portland; Linda Goldeckers, Toledo, Ohio; Kathy Fitzgerald, Kentucky; and Nancy Crites, Indianapolis. They have 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
