Davis seeks pages for statehouse
Taking Note
State Representative Bill Davis is looking for students ages 13 to 18 to become pages for a day with the Indiana House Page Program.
Students who sign up for the program will get to participate in activities of the General Assembly and the Statehouse, including witnessing floor sessions, committee meetings and helping staff members. They will also get to tour the governor’s office, the chambers of the Indiana House and Senate and the Indiana Supreme Court.
Students will be given an excused absence from school and will be responsible for their own transportation.

Teams compete
The Fort Recovery FFA Agriculture Communication teams recently competed in the district contest and took second and third place.
Senior team members who placed second were Michelle Brackman, Laura Braun, Emily Schoenlein, Abby Sudhoff and Alison Tobe. The senior team advanced to the state and took 11th place.
Sophomore team members who placed third were Eric Brackman, Jessica Kaiser, Melissa Lochtefeld, Kendra Tobe and Sam Tobe.
Geneva library
Several activities will be held the week of Dec. 27 at the Geneva Library and they will begin at 1 p.m. each day.
There will be a scavenger hunt on Monday; movies will be shown on Tuesday; a Wii bowling tournament will be on Wednesday; movies will be shown again on Thursday and board games and computer games will be played on Friday.
Snacks will be provided each day. For more information, call the library at (260) 368-7270.
