Mr. and Mrs. Roland “Ron” Deffenbaugh, Hartford City, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Ron and Norma Jean Cochran were wed Feb. 5, 1956, at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Marion by Pastor Kenneth Dunn.
Norma is a homemaker and a native of Redkey and Ron, a Portland native, retired from General Motors in Marion. They attend the Redkey Church of the Nazarene.
They are the parents of Randal Deffenbaugh, Upland, and Mrs. Marty (Renee) Wentz, Fortville. They also have five grandchildren.
