DG store proposed

Dollar General has proposed a 9,100 square foot retail store just off U.S. 27 in Geneva.
The address would be 650 N. Main St.
Geneva officials say Dollar General is in the final stages of acquiring the property after having received a go from the planning board and having the property zoned correctly.

New plant opens
Saint-Gobain, parent company of Verallia of North America, which has a plant in Dunkirk, opened its first plasterboard plant near the village of Gomzovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia.

Bollenbacher hires
Bollenbacher & Associates hired Brittany McGuire, Shannon Steiner and Marcia Stockton this summer.
McGuire is a 2013 Ball State graduate and will be working as an accountant. Steiner is a 2011 graduate of Anderson University and will be working as an accountant. Stockton will be working as the administrative assistant after being hired in 2008 as a tax season receptionist.
