Mr. and Mrs. Joe Doyle, 11813 West 800 South, Redkey, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Joe married Sandy on Nov. 21, 1964, at the Desoto United Methodist Church in Desoto.
Sandy, who is charter president of the West Jay Optimist Club, was recently named Humanitarian of the Year for 2003 for the North District of the state of Indiana. She works for Masters Insurance in Dunkirk.
Joe has worked for New Venture Gear in Muncie for the past 11 years.
The couple has lived in Redkey for 27 years.
They are the parents of Mrs. Chris (Jean) Fultz, Larry (Anna) Doyle, Mrs. Travis (Cindy) Bullock, Mrs. Doug (Judy) McDonald, Mrs. Paul (Teresa) Paquette, Mrs. Chad (Jackie) Davis and David Doyle. They also have 16 grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
