Dunkirk couple celebrating 50th (07/27/06)
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Burress, 241 East Railroad Street in Dunkirk, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at West Jay Community Center in Dunkirk.
Arnold married Sheila J. Hatfield on Aug. 3, 1956.
Longtime Jay County residents, Arnold retired from Ball Foster in Dunkirk.
They are the parents of Drema Simmons, Dunkirk; Mrs. Tim (Jeanie) Stafford, Indianapolis; and Keith Burress, Dunkirk. They have seven grandchildren.
