Mr. and Mrs. Monte Dunlavy, 867 S. Blaine Pike, Portland, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. with an open house at West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland.
Monte married the former Marada Murell on June 30, 1957, at Milton Methodist Church in Milton, W. Va.
The couple were former owner/operators of Dunlavy Glass, where Monte made blown art glass pieces. He is now an associate broker for Century 21 Real Estate.
They are the parents of Mrs. Doug (Tonya) Hammer, Winthrop Harbor, Ill., and James Dunlavy, Portland. They have five grandchildren.
