Breakfast with the Easter bunny, one of four Egg-Stravaganza events, will be held on Saturday in Union City.

Book fair
Books are Fun will have a book fair at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne on Thursday, April 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Books are Fun will donate books to the Kinder Haus Day Care Library.
Bunny train
The Easter Bunny Express will leave Connersville's Grand Central Station on Saturday, April 11, to travel to the Bunny Patch Station for a visit with the Easter bunny.
While at the station, children ages eight and younger, will participate in an egg hunt, including a golden egg.
The Whitewater Valley Railroad's Bunny Express will depart at 10 a.m., 12:01 and 2 p.m. Tickets are $9 and can be purchased by calling (765) 825-2054 or at www.whitewatervalleyrr.org.
Reunion
The Jay County High School graduating class of 1989 is planning its 20th reunion on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 6 p.m. at the Portland Golf Club.

Library program
Jay County Public Library will have an after school special on Friday, April 10, from 2:45 to 4 p.m. for kindergarten through fifth grade students. There will be a story, a craft and snacks.

These area students were recently named to the dean's list for the winter quarter at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute.
Jessica Muhlenkamp, the daughter of Allen and Theresa Muhlenkamp, Portland. She is majoring in civil engineering.
Jacob Schmidt, the son of Gary and Diane Schmidt, Portland. He is majoring in software engineering.
