Elicks celebrate 50th (10/20/2008)
Longtime Jay County residents, Larry and Pat Elick are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday with an early reception at White Linen Hall in Portland from 1 to 4 p.m. They request that gifts be omitted.
Larry married Pat Hutson on Jan. 24, 1959, at Immaculate Conception Church in Portland. They were Portland residents for 42 years and retired to Rainbow Lake in Geneva eight years ago.
They are retired from Jay County Hospital, where Pat worked as a registered nurse and Larry was a medical technologist.
They are the parents of two children, Camille Elick, Portland, and Todd Elick, Fort Wayne. They also have three grandchildren.
The couple is planning a Mediterranean cruise in the spring of 2009.[[In-content Ad]]
