Ellis couple celebrates 50th
Longtime Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Phil Ellis, Redkey, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
Phil married Joyce Ann Byrd on Aug. 20, 1959, in Tennessee.
Joyce retired from Indiana Glass in Dunkirk and Phil retired from Westinghouse/ABB in Muncie.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellis are the parents of Mrs. Brian (Trina) Caldwell, Redkey, and Mrs. Arnold (Leisha) Clevenger Jr., Dunkirk. They have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
