Emery couple celebrates 50th
Roy and Jeanette Emery, Fort Recovery are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at the K. of C. Hall in the village.
Roy married Jeanette Gebele on Jan. 27, 1962, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Recovery.
Jeanette retired from Second National Bank in Fort Recovery and Roy retired from the United States Navy.
They are the parents of Janet Ashcraft, Albion, and Rich Emery, Portland. They also have four grandchildren.
