Mr. and Mrs. Roma Evans Jr., Geneva, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.
Roma and the former Wavalene Whitacre were married on March 12, 1949, at Macklin Church, east of Bryant, by the Rev. Anderson.
They are the parents of five surviving children, Nancy Bechtol, Dunkirk; Becky Evans; Gail Evans, Union City, Ohio; Richard Evans, Geneva; and Rex Evans, Portland. They also have 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.[[In-content Ad]]
