Taking Note
An Internet for beginners class will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Jay County Public Library, Portland. There will also be another beginners class on Thursday, Oct. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.
An adult mystery program will be held on Monday, Oct. 5, at 6:30 p.m.
Registration is required for these programs.

NEW BOARD MEMBER
Jack Ronald was elected to serve as vice chair of the Minnetrista Board of Trustees at their annual meeting on Sept. 9.
Ronald, who is currently serving a three-year term as a Minnetrista trustee, also sits on the marketing and development committee.
CRAFT WORKSHOP
The Randolph County Extension Homemakers will host its annual make-it-take-it craft workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 9:30 am. to 4 p.m. at the Randolph County Fairgrounds.
Admission is free, but supplies need to be purchased.[[In-content Ad]]
