Fayette allies with Energize (02/16/08)

Energize-East Central Indiana has a new partner in economic development.

The Economic Development Group of Fayette County recently joined Energize-ECI.

"Fayette County is part of Region 6 in workforce development and fits the footprint of Energize-ECI's regional economic development partnership," Roy Budd, executive director of Energize-ECI, said in a press release this week. "We look forward to having their support in teaming with us as we promote the ten counties of East Central Indiana.

Energize-ECI is a public/private partnership that provides services and programs to encourage new business investment in East Central Indiana. Jay, Delaware, Randolph, Blackford, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Madison, Rush and Wayne counties are serviced by Energize-ECI.

Luncheon set

The Jay County Chamber of Commerce will hold a noon networking luncheon Feb. 26 at Shankers at the Portland Golf Club, 124 West 200 South, Portland.

In top 25

A St. Henry, Ohio, nursing home recently ranked within the top 25 nursing homes in the state.

The Gardens at St. Henry was compared to about 1,000 nursing facilities and 550 residential care facilities in a customer satisfaction survey. The survey was conducted by Vital Research LLC.

The nursing home was ranked on topics such as activities, administration, admissions, choice, environment and general satisfaction.[[In-content Ad]]
