Finches to mark 50th
Longtime Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Glen L. Finch, 5836 South Como Road, Portland, celebrated thier 50th anniversary Sunday.
Glen married Carolyn Joyce Wiley on June 19, 1955, at West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland by Marshall N. Weaver.
Carolyn is a homemaker and retired in 1999 as a secretary for Al Heating and Cooling.
Glen retired as a meter electrician for Indiana and Michigan Power Co. in 1998.
They are the parents of Mrs. John (Connie) McClain, Virginia Beach, Va.; Teresa McIntire, Monticello; Mrs. Marty (Brenda) Ryan, Bright; Robin Finch, Sandusky, Ohio; and Mrs. Aaron (Kristy) Inman, Portland. They also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The couple will celebrate with their family in Virginia Beach, Va.
