Ford, Homan make dean's list
Taking Note
Two area residents were on the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology dean’s list for the fall quarter.
Making the list was Adam Ford, Portland, son of Terri and F. Dwane Ford, who is majoring in mechanical engineering, and Tony Homan, Bryant, son of Rick and Cathy Homan, who is majoring in computer engineering.
FREE TREES
The National Arbor Day Foundation will give ten free trees to each person who joins during the month of January.
The trees are two white flowering dogwoods, two flowering crabapples, two Washington Hawthorns, two American redbuds, and two goldenraintrees and will be shipped between Feb. 1 and May 31. Members will also receive a subscription to the Foundation’s bimonthly publication, Arbor Day and The Tree Book.

Bloomfield Elementary recently announced the winners for its December life skills “effort.”
Winners were Ashley Brumbaugh, Kelsey Ferguson, Chris Fifer, Reuben C.R. Graber, Nathan Heitkamp, Jade Hollopeter, Patrick Jones, Austin Muhlenkamp, Emily Muhlenkamp, Maria Murphy, Erica Post, Esther S.C. Schwartz, Daniel Swartzentruber and Elizabeth Swartzentruber.[[In-content Ad]]
