Fort Recovery wins conference title
Fort Recovery Eels
The Fort Recovery Eels took their second-straight Stateline Swim Conference title handily Saturday in the five-team meet.
The Eels racked up a 2,338 points to win as four Fort Recovery swimmers picked up triple individual wins. Fort Recovery picked up its second title since the conference's creation last year.
St. Henry finished second with 1,901, followed by Union City with 1,100, Randolph County at 714 and rounded out by Greenville with 601.
Fort Recovery won 33 events, including 10 relays.
Carley Stone picked up three wins in the girls 9-10 division, winning the 50 free, 25 fly and 100 IM. Cori Stone led the 13-14 girls with triple wins in the 200 free, 50 fly and 100 IM.
For the boys, Andy Gray topped the 13-14 age group with wins in the 50 and 100 free and the 50 breaststroke. Perry Hull led the 15 and older division with first place finishes in the 50 fly, 100 IM and 50 free.
Jordan Bechtol was Fort's only two-event winner, clinching the boys 15 and older 200 free and 50 backstroke.
Individual event winners also include, Hunter McAbee, Becca Wood, Kaitlyn Pearson, Ocean Loya, Marshall Hull, Ryan Gray and Alexis Bubp.[[In-content Ad]]
