Local Roundup
Fort Recovery senior Joscie Kaup picked up yet another post-season honor.
The senior was one of three Midwest Athletic Conference players who earned Division III-IV All-Ohio honors in girls basketball from The Associated Press this week. Kaup joined MAC player of the year Maria Moeller of Marion Local and Robyn Hoying of Minster.
Kaup, who was an All-Midwest Athletic Conference and All-Northwest District first-team selection, led the conference in scoring at 16.7 points per game. She did much of her damage from behind the 3-point arc as she hit a school record 43 3-pointers.
She also was among the conference leaders with a 78 percent mark from the foul line, 70 assists and 58 steals for the Indians (15-7). She will play volleyball next year at Syracuse University.
