FR freshmen fall to Lehman (12/28/04)

SIDNEY, Ohio — The Tribe looked good in the first quarter, but could not keep up the pace for its first win of the season.

Fort Recovery’s freshman boys basketball team slipped to 0-4 Monday with a 48-42 loss to the Sidney Lehman Catholic Cavaliers.

The Indians led 16-11 after the first quarter, but the lead dwindled to just one point at the half. They were outscored 23-16 after the break in the defeat.

Kenton Sudhoff paced Fort Recovery with a double-double, finishing with team highs of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Ben Tobe added 12 points and five points.

Ross Overman scored seven points, Greg Tobe grabbed seven rebounds and Luke Bihn had six points and six rebounds.

Tickets to Fort Recovery’s boys basketball game Monday at Versailles, will be sold on game day.

They will be available in the high school office from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
