FR grad helps CU to defeat Tri-State (11/26/05)

Sara Heitkamp and her No. 7 Capital women’s basketball team survived a scare Wednesday night.
Heitkamp, who graduated from Fort Recovery in 2002, scored 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting as the Crusaders edged Tri-State 56-55.
She also had six rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a block as Capital improved to 3-0.
Tyler Niekamp
A 2003 graduate of Fort Recovery, he helped the seventh-ranked Findlay men’s basketball team to an 83-55 win over Ohio Dominican Tuesday.
Niekamp grabbed four rebounds in the victory. He also had two points, two assists and one steal.
Leah Gasparovic
The Jay County graduate saw her first action, but did not score, in Concordia University’s loss to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Gasparovic played three minutes in the 88-23 loss Tuesday.[[In-content Ad]]
