Sued by IDEM
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has filed suit against the operators of a local confined feeding operation because they are allegedly delinquent in paying a fine related to manure spills in August 2004.
Jenny Cline and Carroll Cline, owners of a confined feeding operation at 5339 West Ind. 26, Portland, had agreed under an IDEM administrative order in 2006 to pay a civil penalty of $8,000.
