Sentenced for possession
A Redkey man has been sentenced to prison time for possessing methamphetamine.
Jason Harding, 33, pleaded guilty in Jay Circuit Court to possession of meth, a class C felony.
His guilty plea was accepted Tuesday and he was sentenced to five year in the Indiana Department of Correction, with three years suspended and credit for time served since Sept. 4.
He was ordered to pay $164 in court costs, a $100 fine and a $200 Drug Abuse Prosecution, Interdiction and Correction fee. He was arrested Sept. 4 after he was pulled over for failing to turn off his turn signal. He had meth in his wallet.
A charge of possession of marijuana, a class D felony, was dismissed as part of a plea agreement in the case.[[In-content Ad]]
