Raymond Lykins
Services for Raymond Lykins, 75, 407 N. Indiana St., Dunkirk, have been set for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Lightner Funeral Home, Dunkirk. The Rev. Marion Donathan will officiate and burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Dunkirk.
He died Wednesday afternoon in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home, Dunkirk.
Born on July 14, 1928 in Weston, Mo., to Marion and Mable Lykins, he was married to his wife Christine, who died in 2001.
A Merchant Marine in his youth, he retired as a shift supervisor at Ball State University.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Ann Lykins, Dunkirk; one son, Raymond C. Lykins, Dunkirk; a sister, Mary Strait, Dunkirk; two brothers, Walter Lykins, Chicago, Ill., and William Lykins, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
