FOUNDATION MEETING
The annual meeting of the Fort Recovery Community Foundation was held recently at Community First Bank and Trust, Fort Recovery.
The committee elected trustees and officers for 2004 as well as heard reports from the distribution committee, the investment committee, and the growth commmittee.
Re-elected to terms as board trustees were Jerry Kaup and Ron Boeckman.
They will serve until 2010.
Board officers re-elected to another term were president, Carol Knapke; vice president, Cathy Koesters; treasurer, Janice Fiely; and secretary, Jon Hein.
A motion was made and approved to hold one additional meeting a year.
A date of Sept. 14 was set for the additional meeting.
The first meeting of 2004 will be held May 4.
FORT MISHAP
Minor to moderate damage was reported in a Jan. 30 accident on North Wayne Street in Fort Recovery.
John P. Ponzuric, 56, 6634 South State Line Road, Fort Recovery, had parked his pickup truck when he opened the door of the truck into the path of a northbound Cooper Farms truck. The Cooper Farms truck was driven by Jerome R. Mott, 48, rural Celina, Ohio.
