Candidates from Dunkirk and Redkey have joined the race for seats on their respective city and town councils.
Eric Bowler, a Democrat and currently a member of the Dunkirk Council, filed to run for re-election on Thursday. He lives at 125 Mt. Auburn Ave.
Joining the primary field for Redkey Council were Democrats Kyle Champ, 300 N. Oak St., and Joe Johnson, 622 S. Meridian St.
Champ and Johnson join fellow Democrats James L. Phillips and Doug Bennett in the primary race.
Major party filing for the primary ends Friday, Feb. 18 at noon.[[In-content Ad]]
