Operating arrest
A Bryant man was arrested for a felony charge of operating while intoxicated.
James F. Ervin, 42, 105 E. Main St., was arrested Thursday for operating while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .15 percent or higher, a Class D felony, and driving while license suspended, an infraction.
Ervin was stopped by police at U.S. 27 and county road 500 North at 8:28 p.m. Thursday. Police allegedly found him to be intoxicated.
He was taken to the Jay County Jail where he was being held this morning on a $3,000 bond.[[In-content Ad]]
