Elaine Rohrer
A funeral Mass for Elaine M. Rohrer, 75, 1228 Sharpsburg Road, Fort Recovery, is Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Help of Christians Church in Fort Recovery with the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. She died Thursday at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.
Born in New Weston, Ohio, to Alex and Ruth (Brown) Ainsworth, she graduated from Jackson High School in Union City, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Rohrer, whom she married on April 19, 1951, in St. Joe, Ohio.
She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Ernest C. Rohrer (wife: Rose), Mike Rohrer, and Dr. David Rohrer (wife: Lori), all of Fort Recovery; a brother, John Ainsworth (wife: Martha), Portland; a sister, Cynthia Sell (husband: Charles), Woodington, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery in Fort Recovery.
