Entrance wreck
Two vehicles collided at the entrance of Burger King Thursday afternoon.
James A. Tipton, 53, 919 Rivermet Ave., Fort Wayne, was pulling out of the Burger King parking lot onto Meridian Street when his vehicle collided with a 1987 Chevrolet Convention driven by Trevor A. Eicher, 20, 212 Oak St., Portland. Eicher was traveling south in the turn right lane on Meridian when an unknown vehicle in front of him turned into Burger King. Eicher continued to go straight to turn right onto Industrial Park Drive when Tipton exited the parking lot when the two collided.
Estimated damages of $1,000 to $2,500 were caused to Tipton’s 1997 Chevrolet Lumina and the vehicle Eicher was driving, registered to Abrill D. Ellis, 306 E. Main St., Bryant, in the 2:49 p.m. accident.[[In-content Ad]]
