Accused of possession
A Redkey woman was arrested this morning by Jay County police for allegedly possessing a syringe for illegal drug use.
Andrea J. Blumenhurst, 30, 110 N. Oak St., was arrested for reckless possession of a syringe, a class D felony.
Blumenhurst was pulled over this morning at county roads 1150 West and 600 South for allegedly driving erratically. Police allegedly found several syringes in a bag in her vehicle.
She was released from the Jay County Jail this morning on a $3,000 bond.
