Former Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Fry, Angola, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at Bearcreek Farms on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 2 to 5 p.m. They welcome friends and family, but request that gifts be omitted.
Jim married Carolyn Miller on Oct. 13, 1955, in Redkey. The couple moved to Angola in 1971 and owned a diner for five years. They retired from real estate sales. Both now work part time in RV parks, spending their summers at Barton Lake in Fremont and winters in Hudson, Fla.
They are the parents of Mrs. Paul (Lori) Dove, Fort Wayne, Randy Fry, Lexington, N.C., and Joni Fry, Angola. They also have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.[[In-content Ad]]
