Geesamans celebrate 55th
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit R. Geesaman Sr., 760 N. Meridian St., Pennville, are celebrating 55 years of marriage today.
Kermit married Martha Ellen Cash on Dec. 4, 1948, in the Pennville United Methodist Church. They are the parents of Mrs. Weldon (Connie) Herring, Portland; Troy Geesaman, Dunkirk; Ralph Geesaman, Kendallville; and Richard, Earl and Timothy Geesaman, all of Pennville. They have 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Both were born and raised in Jay County. Kermit is semi-retired and sells and helps build log homes. Martha is a homemaker and Penn Township trustee.[[In-content Ad]]
