Geesaman's to mark 55th
Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jay Geesaman, 1696 Blaine Pike, Portland, will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary Sunday.
The former Bettina Turner and Jay Geesaman were married Nov. 16, 1948, at the West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland.
They lived in Phoenix, Ariz., for 20 years where Mrs. Geesaman was a second and third grade teacher and her husband worked as a welder at a steel fabricating plant. After working for Johnson Bible College for eight years, they moved back to Portland in 1989.
The couple will celebrate with a brief trip and a special dinner.[[In-content Ad]]
