Glogas earns dental degree (6/15/04)

Geoffrey L. Glogas, Dunkirk, has graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry with high distinction, earning a doctor of dental surgery degree.

Glogas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Glogas, was inducted into Theta Theta Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society.

He also received the Dean’s Silver Award and the Quintessence Publishing Co. Award for outstanding achievement in periodontics.

HONORED

Matthew Minnich, son of Dale and Theresa Minnich, Portland, has been named to the President’s List at Tri-State University for the spring semester.

A 2003 graduate of Jay County High School, he also qualified for the Dean’s List in the fall semester.

Martha E. “Libby” Weaver, daughter of Rob and Mindy Weaver, Portland, has been named to the Dean’s List at Wittenberg University.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must have an academic average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP

Ashley DeWitt, daughter of Robert and Brenda DeWitt, Portland, has received the Indianapolis Club of Printing House Craftsman Scholarship at Ball State University.
