Longtime Jay County residents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Grady, 204 W. Main Street, Redkey, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 12 with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dunkirk.
Jim married Ann Gillespie on Aug. 11, 1956, at St. Mary's Church.
Jim is retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad.
They are the parents of Mrs. Bob (Colleen) Bicknell, Dunkirk; Brian Grady, Southington, Ohio; Mrs. Terry (Maureen) Miller, Bruce Grady, Kathleen Bousman, Brad Grady, and Mrs. Phil (Amy) Blakely, all of Redkey; Mrs. Todd (Loreen) Wolford, Brownsburg; Sara Grady, St. Paul, Minn.; Michael Grady, Plymouth, Minn., and Heather Harp, Hawaii. They have 14 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one great-granddaughter and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
