Longtime Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hartzell, 416 W. High Street, Portland, are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today.
Jerry and Helene Adams were wed on Aug. 22, 1981, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland by the Rev. Darrell Taggart.
Helene is director of Bright Beginnings Daycare Ministry in Portland and Jerry is IT director for East Central Opportunities.
Helene's parents are Jerry and Bea Adams, Portland, and Jerry is the son of Maxine Hartzell, Portland.
They are the parents of Mrs. Jonathan (Emily) Calhoun and Tyler Hartzell.
The couple plans to take a Hawaiian cruise.[[In-content Ad]]
