Historic walk to be in Berne

Berne Historic Homes will host a Historic Home Walk on Sunday, Sept. 12, during the Berne Heritage Festival.
The walk will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. and will feature the homes of Mayor John and  Jane Minch, 718 W. Main St.; Shawn and Teri Walsh, 206 W. Van Buren; Mike and Judy Poulson, 365 Hendricks; and the Luginbill House, 705 Stucky St.
Tickets will be available for $5 on the day of the walk at any of the homes.

Gourd show
The 48th Annual Ohio Gourd Show will be held Friday, Sept. 24, through Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Ohio Pavilion at the Darke County Fairground in Greenville.
There will be workshops available in gourd drum making and other arts.
The Oxford Gourd and Drum Ensemble, The Circle of Rhiannon Tribal Drum and Dance Troupe and Judy and Warren Waldren Duo will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Tulisoma will perform Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
