Homans celebrate 50th

Donald and Rosamary Homan, P.O. Box 71, Burkettsville, Ohio, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Church, Sharpsburg, Ohio. An open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Mary Help of Christians Church in Fort Recovery.
Donald Homan married the former Rosamary Holscher on Nov. 26, 1960, at St. Nicholas Church, Osgood, Ohio, with the Rev. Jacob Volk officiating.
The couple are the parents of Cathy Lennartz (husband: Tom), Dave Homan (wife: Deb), Steve Homan (wife: Carrie) and Dana Homan, all of Fort Recovery, Clara Marie Knittle (husband: Jeff), Portland, Rich Homan, Ridgeville, and Mary Westgerdes (husband: Mike), North Star, Ohio. They also have 19 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild.
