Mr. and Mrs. Herbert William Hummel are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today.
Herbert and Margaret Delores Chowning were wed on Feb. 3, 1967, at the home of the Rev. H.R. Burkett in Portland.
Margaret retired from C.T.S. in Berne and Alphabet, Inc. in Portland.
Herbert retired from Pennville Custom Cabinetry, Portland, and is pastor of Hopewell of Life Ministries Church, Portland.
They are the parents of Dean Hummel, Berne, and Jerry Hummel, Portland. They have two grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate with a trip to St. Simons Island, Ga.[[In-content Ad]]
