Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Weiss, Avon, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Heather Anne to James Imler. James is the son of Robert and Barbara Imler, Portland. The couple will exchange vows on Aug. 31 on the American Legion Mall in Indianapolis.
Anne graduated from Avon High School and is studying civic engagement and philanthropic studies at IUPUI. She is employed by the School of Public and Environmental Affairs in the Executive Education Program.
James is a graduate of Jay County High School and spent six years in the Air Force. He is manager of the IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis.[[In-content Ad]]
