Informational meeting scheduled (06/10/08)
Taking Note
Wendy Claycomb will hold an informational meeting on July 12 at 4 p.m. for those living with fibromyalgia.
Wendy, a P.D.M.T. Ms. T, will discuss foods to eat and not eat, vitamins and the benefits of pfrimmer deep muscle therapy. There will also be time for sharing.
The meeting will be held at Heads Up Hair Studio Massage Building, 133 E. High St., Portland, and reservations are required. Call Wendy at (260) 729-7761 to register.
Disaster meeting
The Mercer County American Red Cross will hold a Disaster Action Team (DAT) meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Fort Recovery.

Museum open
The Jay County Historical Museum, 903 E. Main St. in Portland will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Portland High School alumni, their families and friends are invited to visit. Senior pictures, which hung in the hallways of the high school are displayed and sports records compiled by Alex Wasmuth and Les Eads.
There is also a display "Cruisin' Jay County in the '50's and '60's" which contains more than 300 photographs by photographer Frank Kenyon.
Visit the prairie
Conner Prairie, 13400 Allisonville Road in Fishers, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Conner Prairie provides experiences to show how America developed.
