CENTERVILLE - Jay County High School's boys soccer team is still undefeated. It's just not perfect anymore.
The Patriots settled for a tie Saturday, matching the Centerville Bulldogs 1-1.
Jay County's girls soccer team is still looking for its first victory of the season after losing the opening game of the double-header 4-1.

After Jay County (9-0-1) took a 1-0 lead on Brad Horn's goal off a Patrick Johnson assist, the Bulldogs held the visitors scoreless for the final 67 minutes. Centerville tied the score midway through the second half, converting on one of their six shots on goal.
The Patriots took 19 shots overall, but only five on goal. Horn and Isaac Poole each had two shots on goal, and Derek Bartlett added one.
Adam Daniels finished with five saves.
The Jay County girls (0-7-1) played a solid first half as the teams were locked in a scoreless tie at the intermission. But despite 17 shots on goal, the Patriots converted only once while Centerville tallied four scores in the final 40 minutes.
