Jay boys tankers remain perfect

One day after beating Muncie Northside by 74 points, the Jay County middle school boys swim team swam past Adams Central, 182-105.
The girls squad also won, 184-118.
Alex LeMaster paved the way for the boys, winning both the 100-yard individual medley and 100 breaststroke.
Christopher McDowell placed first in the 100 freestyle, and Cody Moser earned the top spot in diving.
Moser and LeMaster also teamed up with Tayler Smeltzer and Noah Hummel to win the 200 freestyle relay.

Dual event winners for the girls were Elizabeth McDowell (100 IM and 100 backstroke), Erica Hathaway (100 and 200 freestyle) and Alex Bader (50 and 400 freestyle).
Kaitlyn Dow (50 butterfly), Breea Liette (100 breaststroke) and Courtney Miles (diving) won their respective events.
Bader, Dow and McDowell teamed up with Liette to win the 200 medley relay, and the trio joined Hathaway to take first in the 400 freestyle relay.
Liette and Hathaway also joined Kaitlyn Hicks and Miles to win the 200 freestyle relay.
The boys improve to 4-0 on the season, and the girls pushed their record to 3-1.[[In-content Ad]]
